Privacy Policy

Wind Bot ("the Bot", "we", "our") is a Discord bot providing a partner Auto-Wave ad exchange and partner statistics, along with a set of features for the DonutSMP community: the Spawner Shop, a building service, map art tickets, sponsorships and giveaways, a schematic library, and the Spawner Tycoon game (/games).

The Bot is operated by its developer ("Developer"). For contact information, see Section 11.

Wind Bot only collects data that is needed to provide its features. The table below lists the types of data stored:

Wind Bot does not collect or store general chat. It reads the content of messages only in the following places, and only to run the feature named:

• Your configured ad channel: to send your server's Auto-Wave ad.
• Ticket channels (shop, support, build and map art): saved as a transcript when the ticket closes.
• The schematic submission channel: to find a schematic file or link and publish it.
• Channels running a typed-answer minigame (such as Type Racer or Unscramble): only while the game is active, to check answers.
• Join and server boost messages in the DonutSMP server: to assign player numbers and keep the booster list up to date.
• Direct messages to the bot and /wave editing sessions: when you are replying to a staff application or editing a saved wave.

All data collection is tied to a specific bot feature:

• Guild, channel & role IDs: to route Auto-Wave partner ads and to run the shop and ticket systems in the correct channels.
• User IDs, usernames & linked IGNs: to associate tickets, orders, payments and payouts with the right people, and to display partner and sales statistics.
• Account history: some actions destroy their own evidence (for example, re-linking an IGN overwrites the old one), so they are recorded separately to help staff resolve disputes and spot fraud.
• In-game balances: DonutSMP does not report who paid whom, only balances. To confirm a payment, the bot notes both players' balances when the check starts and watches for the expected change.
• Build orders, sponsorships & giveaways: to track what is owed to whom, in-game, until it is settled.
• Spawner Tycoon progress: to save your game between sessions.
• Command usage: to learn which features people use, so unused ones can be removed and popular ones improved.
• Ticket transcripts: to keep a record of each request in case of a dispute.

Data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, and the bot is hosted on Railway. Access to the database is restricted to the Developer via secret credentials that are never exposed publicly.

• The database is not publicly accessible.
• All payments are made in-game using DonutSMP's in-game currency. The bot does not handle or store any real-world payment or financial information.
• Spawner Tycoon (/games) money is not DonutSMP currency, has no value, and cannot be transferred in or out of the game.
• Access is protected by provider access controls and Row Level Security.

• Guild configuration: retained while the bot remains in your server. You may request deletion (see Section 8).
• Server contact details: kept after the bot is removed from a server, so the server owner can still be reached.
• Tickets: the ticket channel is deleted when closed; a text transcript is retained for dispute resolution.
• Shop, build, sponsorship and giveaway records: retained to keep the books accurate. Pending staff-payment entries are cleared once settled.
• Linked IGNs, account history, player numbers, staff records and command usage: not deleted automatically. They are kept until you request deletion.
• Spawner Tycoon progress: kept until you request deletion. Using the in-game "Install Hack" feature can reset it by design.
• Schematics: kept as posts in the schematic library forum until removed by staff.
• Partner links: daily records are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Error logs: only the most recent 200 errors are kept; older entries are deleted automatically.

Wind Bot relies on the following third-party services to function, and does not share your data with anyone else:

• Discord API (discord.com): required for the bot to operate. Discord's own privacy policy applies to data held by Discord.
• Supabase: hosts the database where the data described above is stored.
• Railway: hosts the bot's application.
• DonutSMP API (api.donutsmp.net): the bot sends it linked in-game names to look up in-game balances and player statistics.
• DonutStats (donutstats.net): used the same way, only when the DonutSMP API is unavailable.

Only in-game names are sent to DonutSMP and DonutStats. Your Discord identity is never sent to them. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for advertising or commercial purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access: request a summary of what data is stored for your guild or user ID.
• Deletion: request that data associated with your guild or user ID be deleted, including your linked IGN, Spawner Tycoon progress and command usage records. Records we need for dispute resolution or fraud prevention, such as unsettled orders and payouts, may be kept.
• Correction: update stored configuration via the bot's slash commands (e.g. /config setup), or re-link your IGN with /ign.

DonutSMP shop staff can view a member's shop history and correct a linked IGN. Every such change is recorded along with the staff member who made it.

Wind Bot is not directed at children under the age of 13, and Discord's own Terms of Service require users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. All trading takes place in-game using DonutSMP's in-game currency, and Spawner Tycoon uses fake money with no value; no real-world money is involved in either.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
